Ploy brings a darker house sound to Faith Beat with The Flirt EP, a five-track 12-inch built around weighty kick drums, elastic basslines and touches of UK garage. Vocal samples add warmth and feeling to the tough rhythms, giving the record a pull that reaches beyond the drum programming.

Flirt and Woman (Thank You) take the A-side, with Love Song, I Need You and Prayer Hands on the flip. This repress brings all five cuts back to vinyl: a useful selection for DJs drawn to bass-led house with a little swing and an emotional edge.
