About this release
PQM’s ‘You Are Sleeping’ brings together the remastered PQM Meets Luke Chable Vocal Pass and remixes by Matador and Shiba San on this Yoshitoshi 12-inch. The A-side gives the Chable collaboration a full side, with the two later interpretations sharing the reverse. Matador draws out the track’s darker qualities through spacious, reverb-heavy textures and brooding synth figures. Shiba San moves towards a bass-led G-house groove, offering a different setting for the same distinctive material. Together, the three versions trace the track’s movement between progressive house, techno and bass-driven house.
