About this release
Charles Webster’s Presence project returns on Pariter with The Strength, a reissue of music from his mid-1990s catalogue. The record connects deep house warmth with intricate programming and a firmer, tech-leaning pulse, reflecting the expressive detail of Webster’s early productions. Gettin’ Lifted and Feelin’ Lifted occupy the first side, while the second pairs the Within and Without versions of the title track. Across the release, rhythmic drive sits alongside emotional depth rather than overwhelming it. This edition brings the material back to vinyl in a remastered presentation, retaining the original set of contrasting mixes across its two sides.
