About this release
Kung Fu Battle Ina Brixton brings Prince Fatty's reggae production together with Horseman's vocal delivery. Taken from Prince Fatty Versus The Drunken Gambler, it draws on the album's kung-fu theme and sound-system approach. This Mr Bongo 7-inch pairs the vocal recording with a dub version on the reverse, offering two perspectives on the same rhythm. Horseman, also known as Winston Williams, is both a drummer and an MC, while Prince Fatty is producer Mike Pelanconi.
