About this release
Soulmatic Remixes revisits four tracks from Purple Disco Machine's debut album through versions by David Penn, Mousse T, Superlover and Carl Cox. Music In You opens in David Penn's remix, followed by Mousse T's take on Encore. Superlover reworks Play on the reverse, before Carl Cox's Body Funk remix closes the EP. The selection draws the album's disco and house material into four distinct club interpretations. Sweat It Out!'s purple vinyl twelve-inch presents two tracks on each side, bringing the remixers together in a concise companion release to Soulmatic.
