About this release
Redmo brings Q-Tip's Vivrant Thing together with Eddie Kendricks' Girl You Need A Change Of Mind on this two-sided seven-inch for 2 Dogs. The arrangement starts from the Kendricks piano line, cutting between the soul recording and Q-Tip's vocal to create a new combined version.
The vocal treatment occupies the first side, with a dub on the reverse. It is a focused soul and hip-hop mash-up, presented in two forms under catalogue number TD002.
Format: 7" vinyl
Label: 2 Dogs
Catalogue number: TD002
