About this release
Quiet Dawn’s Celebrate follows the broken-beat direction of his Movements EP, combining live-feeling rhythms with electronic production across eleven tracks. The French multi-instrumentalist, also known as Will Galland, works with LyricL on the title track, Bembe Segue on All Around, and Oliver Night on Follow Your Instincts and Lost From Life. Rhodes, synthesizers, percussion and basslines carry the instrumental pieces, while He Is Lion and It’s All About Freedom bring jazz and samba influences into the sequence. Shorter downtempo passages such as See The Good and Flow provide changes of pace. Released by First Word Records, the album connects its vocal collaborations through a shared rhythmic approach.
