About this release
GEMS opens its reissue series with two recordings from the earlier UK tech-house scene. Radical Chic’s ‘In Da Shadows’ appears in Terry Francis’s remix on the A-side, paired with Space Bunny’s ‘The Key’ in its Wax Trax Remix on the reverse. Selected by label founder Paul Still, the tracks connect GEMS with the records he sourced and sold around London during the 1990s and early 2000s. Both are remastered for this release, bringing two different productions from that period together on a single 12-inch while retaining their original remix identities.
