About this release
Rafa Santos presents Our Journey on Mate Records, pairing his original deep house recording with an NDATL remix from Kai Alcé. The A-side gives piano chords, a repeating vocal and an expressive saxophone line room to develop over an unhurried rhythm.
Alcé’s remix adds more weight and swing to the drums while retaining the melodic mood of the original. Two interpretations of the same piece share this 12-inch release.
