About this release
Raffaele Ciavolino’s Come Into The Jazz connects jazz melodies with deep house rhythm, drawing on the warmth of earlier jazz-house records while keeping the arrangements focused on the dance floor. Trumpet and guitar lines add melodic detail to the drums, with improvisation shaping the music alongside programmed grooves. The album moves through the producer’s interest in deep, funky and jackin’ house, bringing those approaches together across four sides. Tracks including Dizzy Guitar, Sunset Trumpet and Horn Stacks reflect the instrumental focus that runs through the set.
