About this release
Rahaan brings two reworks to Dancing In Space, connecting disco arrangements with boogie and jazz-funk detail. Allright opens with a lightly dubbed treatment, rearranging its source around a rolling groove and synthesizer colour. My Strategy takes the reverse into a largely instrumental extension, lifting the tempo and drawing out the rhythmic movement. The pairing gives the first cut a warmer, layered feel and the second a more direct forward motion. Released through the Australian label, the record presents both sides of Rahaan’s approach to stretching and reshaping disco material.
