About this release
Rasputin’s Stash pair two contrasting recordings from their archive on this Family Groove seven-inch. Make Up Your Mind brings fuzz-toned guitar, soulful vocals and a tightly arranged brass section into a forceful funk groove. You Are My Everything slows the pace, moving towards the smoother feel of a soul-steppers song. Together they show the group balancing psychedelic instrumental colour with melodic vocal writing. Drawn from recovered master tapes, the recordings connect the band’s later work with the musicians’ subsequent Crystal Winds project, offering a compact view of the overlap between their funk and soul approaches.
