About this release
Michael Gray revisits Raw Silk’s ‘Do It To The Music’ for Fool’s Paradise, reshaping the New York group’s 1982 West End recording across three versions. The Extended Mix places the song in Gray’s funk-inflected club setting, with the Reprise alongside it on the first side. An Extended Dub Mix takes the reverse, providing another treatment of the same material. Together, the three mixes connect the original recording’s disco foundations with Gray’s house production approach. This twelve-inch gathers the complete remix package, including the Reprise that was introduced as part of the vinyl release.
