About this release
Red Rack’em’s Wonky Bassline Disco Banger returns in a tenth anniversary edition on Bergerac. First released in 2016, the title track moves from an uplifting opening into disco-house drums before its deliberately unsteady bassline arrives. The B-side pairs Jazzy Extension, built around piano and double bass, with Destined, whose pitch-shifting fretless bass and sampled voices take a more off-centre route. This edition is pressed on transparent red vinyl, with a full-colour sleeve and notes from Red Rack’em. It brings the original three-track selection together in an anniversary presentation, mastered by Shane McEnhill.
