About this release
Network's Innovator gathers seven Derrick May productions under his Rhythim Is Rhythim and Mayday names. Strings Of Life supplies the unmistakable piano rush, Nude Photo brings the wirier club energy, and Wiggin points towards the stranger, futuristic side of Detroit techno.
The Dance, Beyond The Dance and Sinister round out the shorter cuts, with Hand Over Hand taking the final side. Originally compiled in 1991, the collection is spread across two records for this Network edition, giving these early productions more room in the cut. This September 2026 repress comes on 180g black vinyl.
