About this release
Let Go brings Robert Glasper’s jazz and R&B sensibilities into a calm, meditative setting. The album is intended as a space for reflection, with an emphasis on a quieter listening experience rather than the urgency of his more rhythm-forward work. Meshell Ndegeocello joins “Breathing Underwater”, while Burniss Travis features on “Luna’s Lullaby”. Chris Sholar and Kendrick Scott also contribute to the collection. Across the album, Glasper’s approach draws those musicians into a shared atmosphere of patience and introspection.
