About this release
Ron Trent launches Pink Dolphin with Night Wind, a two-track 12-inch pairing the title cut with Magic Is. Written and produced by Trent, the record takes an expansive approach to deep house, letting rhythm and atmosphere develop together at an easy pace.
Night Wind stretches beyond eleven minutes, leaving space for its melodic details to drift in and out of the arrangement. Its light, flowing feel brings a Balearic warmth to the groove, making it well suited to a patient opening set or an uninterrupted listen at home. The nine-minute Magic Is occupies the reverse, giving each track a full side on this first Pink Dolphin release.
