Based out of Amsterdam, Quartet Series is a label run by local house hooligan Nachtbraker. Known for his sample-heavy deep house grooves, he recruits like minds for the label - and this time finds a kindred spirit in the form of Frenchman S3A - he of the Sampling As An Art label out of Paris. From the bombastic, Todd Terry referencing bounce of "Presentiment" (feat Mika Blaster), the funked-up disco house shenanigans of "Wu Impact" through to the sexy, neon-lit, late night deepness of "Influences" - this EP is a right jackathon from start to finish, with a distinctly French Touch indeed.
