About this release
Tamalungma is Saphileaum’s first album for Pinchy & Friends, bringing Georgian artist Andro Gogibedashvili’s interest in myth, nature and ancient cultures into an eleven-track electronic set. Its music moves through ambient, downtempo and Balearic territory, with a meditative character that connects the pieces. Exotic Joy opens the first side before Kolkhuri, Moqua Well, Yuzu Maracuya and Galapagos. The reverse runs from Golden Age Tandem through Water World and Tahitian Pearls to the closing Cuicas. Released as PF017, the album is presented on 180g vinyl with a picture sleeve and obi strip, carrying the complete eleven-track programme.
