About this release
Serge Funk pairs “Groovy Theme” and “Cherry Bomb” on a two-track 7-inch for Groove Culture Seven. Both cuts connect disco and funk source material with the direct rhythmic approach of house, placing drums and repeated grooves at the centre of the arrangements. “Groovy Theme” takes side A, with “Cherry Bomb” on the reverse. The pairing keeps the focus on compact, rhythm-led versions rather than extended vocal arrangements.
