About this release
Italian producer Sergio Sturari records as Serge Funk, bringing disco and house together on this Groove Culture Seven single. You and I leads with a guitar hook and an uplifting vocal, while Yeah Yeah adds horns, slap bass, organ and guitar to a punchy house rhythm. The pairing translates two of his dancefloor productions to the label's seven-inch format, with each track occupying its own side. The emphasis stays on the live-sounding instrumental details and vocals that connect the records' disco roots with their club-ready structures.
