About this release
Shanti Celeste sings about the early stages of a relationship on ‘Ice Cream Dream Boy’, a collaboration between Method 808 and Peach Discs. Written with help from Shivum Sharma, the song takes its title from an ice-cream plush toy given to Celeste by her partner. That personal starting point becomes an uplifting vocal house track, with her own voice at its centre. This four-track 12-inch pairs the Original Mix with the Sorbet Dub, Functional Gelato Mix and Soft and Swirly Acapella, moving between the complete song, two alternative club versions and the isolated vocal.
