About this release
Shed’s Rave Echoes connects angular techno with the lingering atmosphere of a night out. Released on Dekmantel, the album moves through submerged textures on Loot 25, sliced breaks on Everybody and the sparse, stepping rhythm of Rave Predator. Password appears in both Techno and Trance mixes, placing different treatments of the same idea across the middle sides. Double Scoop pairs emotive strings with compressed breakstep drums, while Taking You Home adds a more urgent pulse. The title track closes at a slower, weightier pace. Written and produced by René Pawlowitz, the eight-track album is mastered and cut by Andreas Kauffelt.
