About this release
Shy One returns with Mali on Touching Bass, a confident second album and future-facing ode to Black British electronic music, diasporic lineage and the full spectrum of London sound.
Featuring collaborators including George Riley, Steve Spacek, James Massiah and Private Joy, the record moves between dancefloor energy, after-hours looseness and soulful in-between spaces, cementing Shy One as one of London’s most distinctive contemporary voices.
