About this release
Perfect We Are Not grew out of Soulwax’s Abbey Road After Hours project, during which the band moved between the studio’s three main recording rooms. Written and recorded with the full live band, including three drummers, it carries that performance-led approach into a driving standalone single. The sessions used Abbey Road’s analogue equipment, and the track was played at the opening of the band’s 2manydjs set in Studio One. Released through DEEWEE, this twelve-inch has music on the A-side and an etched reverse, housed in a die-cut sleeve.
Format: 12" Vinyl (Etched B-side, Die-cut Sleeve)
