About this release
Space Ghost’s Dance Planet moves between ambient reflection and warm, soulful club music, drawing on the house traditions of Larry Heard and Blaze. Afterglow opens into spacious synth textures, Dream Weaver introduces broken rhythms, and UFO brings an R&B-leaning groove to the set. Back To The Source and Soul Shower return to a direct dance-floor pulse, while the vocal messages in Emotional Healer and Be Yourself connect the album’s rhythms with its theme of personal freedom. The Be Free Edition is remastered and recut, with a download code extending the album into additional material and remixes.
