Steve Bug - Let's Work

Steve Bug returns to Nu Groove with Let’s Work, an EP built around rolling house rhythms and carefully controlled tension. The title track opens with a buoyant club groove, followed by the deeper pulse of Mr Wonders. Not The First Time brings acid into the arrangement, keeping the rhythmic focus while sharpening the sound. Closing track Whispers In The Dark features Juliet Mendoza, whose spoken word sits over Bug’s darker electronic backdrop. Across the record, the emphasis moves from the opening track’s bounce towards a more brooding finish, with Mendoza’s vocal contribution giving the final cut its own character.
