About this release
Steve Leach recorded Ocean Potion with the Crystal Grass Orchestra, pairing his voice with strings, horns and a cast of French session players. Originally released in 1976, the album moves through funk, soul, AOR and gentler flute-led songs. Don Ray arranged and conducted, with contributions from guitarist Slim Pezin, drummer André Ceccarelli and percussionist Marc Chantereau. The eleven-track programme includes The Light Of The Mind, The Lady Of The Sea and I Meditate Each Day. For this Be With edition, Simon Francis remastered the audio, Cicely Balston cut the record and Record Industry handled pressing.
