About this release
Suzanne Ciani and Jonathan Fitoussi compose, produce and perform together on Golden Apples Of The Sun. Recorded between Bolinas in California and Paris, the eight-track collaboration works with Buchla, Moog and EMS synthesisers, blending electronic sound with the waves and wind of the Pacific setting. Pieces such as Coral Reef, Oceanium and Sonar carry that relationship between synthesis and surrounding nature through the album. Released by Obliques with Atmospheric, the music was mixed by Thibaut Javoy and Fitoussi and mastered by Alex Gopher. This LP comes in a tip-on sleeve with a printed inner, presenting the original eight-track sequence.
