About this release
El Tel Collection Black returns to Terry Francis’s archive for three tracks rooted in the early UK tech-house sound. Took from Me leads with a deep bassline and uneasy vocal touches, connecting the rhythmic drive of techno with the looseness of house. Little ’N’ Large continues that balance on the reverse, while Furry appears in a retake that brings lighter melodic detail into the drums. Released by Pariter as the second part of its El Tel series, the selection reflects Francis’s involvement in the London underground around Housey Doingz, Wiggle and his long association with fabric.
