About this release
Fresh, Wild, Fly And Bold captures The Cold Crush Brothers’ early hip-hop sound, pairing the group’s vocal performance with an instrumental version on the reverse. The record connects their role in the formative New York rap scene with the studio productions that brought the music to a wider audience. Their appearance in Wild Style places the group within the film’s account of that culture. Tuff City’s remastered reissue presents the single on Cold Crush Blue Ice vinyl, in a large-centre-hole seven-inch format with a Tuff City company sleeve.
