About this release
Previously unreleased recordings from Fred Moss’s work as a professional musician find a home on Athens Of The North. Stay Away moves with a gospel-tinged modern soul feel, while Turn Your Love Around brings a more syncopated, seventies-style funk rhythm to the reverse. Both tracks were newly mixed at the label’s studio from the original multitracks, allowing their different moods to sit together as a two-sided introduction to the band’s music.
