About this release
The Funk District starts the Body Motion Syndrome series on Kaninchenbau with four house tracks drawing on funk, disco and gospel. Funky Worm opens with rolling bass, looped percussion and blues-funk vocals, followed by the fuller disco-house sound of Turned Up For Free.
Praise The Lord brings piano stabs and gospel energy to the B-side, with We’re Gonna Need closing the record around another church-influenced vocal and a warm house groove.
