The Nathaniel X Project - The Resurface EP

The Nathaniel X Project’s Resurface EP connects two recordings from 1993 with two made in 2025, bringing different stages of James N. Tinsley’s work into one set. Raw drum machines and deep chords provide the common thread, with the earlier material dating from the period of his self-titled EP. The later recordings continue that stripped-back approach, placing groove and feeling ahead of elaborate production. Daybreakers presents the four previously unreleased tracks together, tracing a house sound that develops across three decades while retaining its direct rhythmic character.
