About this release
Caspar Pound and Laurence Elliott-Potter’s Voices Of The Rainforest returns on Sound Migration, revisiting their 1993 recording for Rising High. The New London School Of Electronics combine rolling tribal percussion with spacious synth textures, moving between ambient techno, acid and early trance.
The original version occupies the A-side, while the reverse carries the extended Blackout Mix recorded live at The Erotica in Paris. The two versions trace the same atmospheric idea at different lengths, balancing psychedelic detail with a sustained, hypnotic pulse.
