About this release
The Patchouli Brothers return to Razor-N-Tape’s white-label series with four edits reaching beyond their usual disco selections. House from the 1990s, electro-boogie, Euro dance and freestyle provide the source palette for a varied two-sided programme. Male Dans La Peau opens with a chord-led approach before See You Tonight introduces an arpeggiated, soulful pulse. Mista Hasta La Vista shifts the character on the reverse, followed by the recurring vocal hook of All Nite. The Toronto duo keep those contrasting influences connected through their editing, bringing several corners of their record collection into one 12-inch.
