About this release
The Silvertones’ ‘Rejoice Jah Jah Children’ returns on the Upsetter imprint through Real Rock Records. Produced by Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry in 1973 and taken from Silver Bullets, this is the song’s original cut, with the group’s close harmonies set against a deep roots rhythm.
The reverse carries ‘Rejoicing Skank’, credited to The Upsetter. The 7-inch pairs the vocal with Perry’s spacious dub treatment, returning a long-unavailable single to the format.
