The Tidals - Land Of Juhasifa

The Tidals’ ‘Land Of Juhasifa’ returns on Jamwax with The Soul Syndicate’s ‘Hasifa Dub’ on the reverse. Originally released in 1975, the vocal side is a conscious roots reggae recording built around a deep, hypnotic groove. Its companion dub opens the arrangement into a more spacious instrumental treatment, offering a different view of the same musical foundation. The Tidals formed in the 1960s around Winston Cleveland, Eupert Reid and Aston Pryce, placing the single within the group’s Jamaican vocal tradition. Licensed courtesy of Gaylard Bravo, this reissue presents the vocal and dub together on a two-track 7-inch.
