About this release
thredd’s debut brings together Will Lister, Max Winter and Imogen Williams, also known as Imogen and The Knife. The trio began shaping the music during a residency at West London’s Laylow, writing material for weekly live performances in a makeshift basement studio. Lister’s drum programming, Winter’s harmonic approach and Williams’ lyrics and vocals feed a sound that moves between trip-hop, synth-pop and intimate songwriting. Horseshow sets the rhythmic tone, while Party pushes towards release and Funny Girl draws the arrangement back. First issued digitally in 2025, the album appears here on Scenic Route vinyl.
