About this release
Tiger Stripes completes his three-part Rekids EP series with A Tiger Never Loses Its Stripes (Part 3). ‘Fire Eater’ opens with a warm bassline, lightly skipping drums and soulful vocals, before ‘All Systems Go’ floats through soft percussion, suspended pads and a filtered vocal hook.
The B-side moves through the funky breaks, tangled bass and looping chords of ‘Sonore De Lettres’. ‘The Wetdown’ then pushes the pace with a more driving groove while retaining the dusty drums and human warmth that run through Mikael Nordgren’s four-track selection.
