About this release
Tom Noble's House Of Spirits draws on years of studio work to bring live disco and soul arrangements to Razor-N-Tape. The eight-track album was recorded with musicians including members of Orgone and a gospel choir from Tulsa, with dreamcastmoe singing on Diamond Eyes. Influences from Patrick Adams and the Mizell Brothers run through the project's layered instrumentation and vocal hooks. Love Trip opens the sequence, which also includes Please Take Me There, Times Are Changing and a new mix of Holding On. Mixed by Scott Stallone, the double LP closes with Time Is Running Out and Moving Away.
