About this release
Tour-Maubourg’s debut album moves beyond the club emphasis of his early EPs, bringing house rhythms into conversation with downtempo production and jazz-influenced melody. Released originally in 2020, Paradis Artificiels explores changing emotional states, from warmth and affection to more reflective, melancholy passages. Piano and melodic textures remain closely tied to the groove, giving the music a shared character even as the pace and arrangements shift. Tracks including La Révolte Du Coeur and Ode To Love sit within a sequence designed for listening as well as dancing, connecting the producer’s established rhythmic approach with the broader possibilities of a studio album.
