About this release
Tuccillo’s First Summer EP returns to Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory with four stripped-down house tracks centred on rhythm and bass. The title cut combines fluttering stabs, bouncing low end and chopped vocals over a reduced drum pattern. One More follows with echoing dub chords, pads and a swinging groove, shifting the atmosphere without losing the rhythmic focus. On the reverse, People For The People brings organic percussion, filtered funk and jazzy keys into the mix. Gotta Be Free closes with acid-tinged bass, crisp drums and processed vocal chants. The complete four-track EP is presented on 12-inch vinyl.
