About this release
Suntrip brings an anonymous Balearic rework to Coyote’s Magic Wand label, stretching a vocal song into a lightly dubbed arrangement. Synth-marimba lines, fretless bass and glistening guitar sit around a male lead vocal, with effects opening space through the drums. The production has the polished feel of an elaborate 1980s studio recording, while the edit gives those instrumental details room to unfold. The track occupies a single side of the seven-inch, keeping the focus on its relaxed groove and layered textures.
