About this release
Multi Culti’s Equinox III moves between club rhythms, live synthesizer textures and the lighter touch of a stripped-back cover. Bofo Dab opens with the horn-led Super Extra Fly before Mehmet Aslan turns inward with FM-like tones on You Have to Swim. Gilb’r stretches out on a deep, sparkling synth jam, giving the first side a more spacious finish. Mytron’s Higher starts the reverse, followed by Niev’s Professor Banjo. Yuki Miyauchi brings an ethereal, 1990s bleep character to Donkey Conga, while DJ Himitsu closes with the rolling pulse of Waterfall. The selection connects its contrasting sounds through rhythm rather than a single production style.
