About this release
Sondela Selects Vol. 2 brings four tracks from the label’s catalogue together, connecting vocal expression with different approaches to Afro house. FKA Mash and Sio’s Bumblebee opens with a soulful feel, followed by Thakzin’s The Magnificent Dance and its connection to the 3Step sound. Henrik Schwarz reworks Mike Steva and Stevo Atambire’s Destiny Song on the reverse, before Sammi Ferrer and Chaleee’s Champagne closes the selection. The set moves between melody, voice and rhythmic drive, offering a cross-section of the label’s musical direction.
