About this release
Curated by Rosa Pistola, Dioses Tribales brings together artists from different generations of Mexican tribal music. Ricardo Reyna and DJ Mouse sit alongside DJ Tetris, Javier Estrada, Freebot and Clap Freckles, tracing a sound shaped by regional rhythms, electronic production and club experimentation. Produced by Sabotaje Media, Trucha Soul and La Chekera Records, the compilation connects earlier approaches with the genre’s continuing development. Its eight tracks move through chanting vocals, dense percussion and driving bass, while contributors such as Clap Freckles and Freebot extend those foundations towards more experimental textures and techno-influenced production.
