About this release
Sean McCabe’s Good Vibrations Music brings four vocal-led cuts together on its third vinyl compilation. Black Sonix and McCabe extend the Matsiko World Orphan Choir’s ‘Rise’, followed by McCabe’s piano-rich remix of MissFly and David Bailey’s ‘Baby Don’t Make Me Wait’. The B-side opens with his dub of Ellis Aaron’s ‘Got It Bad’, built around swinging drums, Rhodes and organ. Last Nubian and Goldbar close with ‘Dance Together’, featuring Josh Leon Wray’s vocals and a rhythm that draws house and broken beat together. McCabe mastered the set, whose warm keys and musical arrangements connect its contrasting performances.
