About this release
Heavenly Remixes 6 brings ten reworkings from across the label’s history onto double vinyl. Saint Etienne’s 'Like A Motorway' opens in its Chemical Brothers mix, with David Holmes, The Parrots and Working Men’s Club following through versions by Darren Emerson, Confidence Man and Erol Alkan. The selection also reaches into Monkey Mafia, Espiritu and audiobooks, before Flowered Up’s Weatherall treatment closes the set. Dub mixes and longer dancefloor arrangements connect artists from different periods of the catalogue. Released alongside volume five, the collection continues Heavenly’s account of the label through the hands and ears of its remixers.
