About this release
King Street Sounds Sampler Vol. 2 brings together four recordings from the label’s house catalogue. Dennis Ferrer opens with ‘How Do I Let Go’, featuring K.T. Brooks, before Rain: a Lil Louis Painting’s ‘Give It Up’ appears in its Masters at Work Club Mix. The reverse places Mood II Swing’s ‘Sunlight in My Eyes’ alongside Kimara Lovelace’s ‘Misery’, remixed by Lil Louis. The selection connects deep, soulful and garage house through vocal-led tracks and club mixes, gathering different producers and remixers around King Street’s New York house tradition on one four-track 12-inch.
Format: 12-inch vinyl
